This past Saturday was Polk County, TN's annual Christmas Parade. My dear friend Jacque works with Safe Haven Animal Rescue Program (SHARP) and let us walk in the parade with them. We had walked with them last year and really had a blast, this year was no different!
Rio made the crowd laugh any time he started barking and play bowing in response to any dogs barking. He really got a chuckle out of the crowd when he barked at the Grinch, who then grabbed his rear (his own not Rio's LOL) and took off running. He was sweet to any kids that wanted to pet him and we played a lot of catch up racing back to our float. He also got the normal comments: 'where's his saddle?!', 'pretty Weimaraner', 'bet he eats a lot'. One guy yelled out from the crowd "I'll take him right now! The big guy!" Sorry folks! He's all mine! :-D

We had great fun. The weather was lovely. The dogs were on their best behaviors and hopefully we helped a few find new homes!
